Crafting Guide!

Crafting in The Realm Online is a little bit different from other games. There are several things you need, some of which you can buy, most of which you have to find from hunting.

Each crafting skill, be it Armorsmithing, Weaponsmithing, or Alchemy, has an associated skill. You must have at least rank one in the given skill before you can craft. The second item you need is the associated tool. Armorsmithing and weaponsmithing each have a special hammer you can buy from a general store. Alchemy has an Alchemy Tool which you can also get from the general store.

Once you have the tool and the skill, you'll have a menu on the tool telling you what you can craft, and what you need for it. This will tell you exactly what to keep an eye out for while you're hunting. Alchemy materials may be purchased from Beral.

You have a number of endurance points you can spend on crafting. They reset every 24 hours. You can earn experience, though a very small amount, through crafting. You can also make some handy and useful items.

Recently, two additional types of items were added. These are Osmium and Iridium. Osmium drops in Tulors, and Fulorans, and Iridium drops in DP, and GH. They can also be found in GH, and occasionally elsewhere. These materials are used to make improved versions of the basic crafting items. While these items come with a level adjustment, they also come with a bonus.

Osmium transfers into a 5% chance to negate a critical strike on you, while Iridium boosts it to a 10% chance. Osmium requires level 200, and Iridium requires level 650. It can take some time to get enough materials to make even one piece of this special armor.
